We take pride in the goods we import and manufacture and offer to consumers who purchase a Jastek or Floortex Chairmat, the warranty set out in this document.
This warranty against defects is provided in addition to other rights or remedies you, as a consumer, may have at law.
Subject to the "Exclusions and Limitations" as set out below, we warrant to you that if you are a consumer who purchases a Jastek or Floortex Chairmat directly from us, or from any of our authorised suppliers, that it will not contain defects which are a result of faulty manufacturer workmanship or materials.
This warranty subsists for the period set out on the label attached to the product. If you are unsure about the warranty period for the product you have purchased, please contact us. The warranty period commences on the date the product is purchased.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and it not transferrable to any other person or party under any circumstances. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
No warranty against defects is offered and we will not be liable for defects which are as a result of:

Our total liability in respect of this warranty against defects is limited to the replacement of the Chairmat purchased with a Chairmat of equal or lesser value.
Any claim made under this warranty must be made by first contacting the store of purchase and providing the store with details of the defect and evidence if possible.
The store of purcahse will then have the option to contact Jasco Pty Ltd (the comapny providing this warranty), either by telephone (02) 9807 1555, by post: PO BOX 135, West Ryde, NSW 1685, or by email at sales@jasco.com.au within the warranty period.
We may require that the Chairmat subject to this warranty be sent (as directed by the store of purchase and/or Jasco Pty Ltd) to us or the store of purchase along with the proof of purchase which details the purchase date to the point of purchase for assessment before the claim is approved.
We will not be liable for any costs, loss or damage incurred in connection with transportation or delivery of the Chairmat.
Upon delivery, the Chairmat will be assessed to determine if the fault or problem is covered by this warranty. We will advise you by telephone, email or in writing whether the fault is covered by this warranty.
Where a fault in a product is covered by this warranty, a replacement of equal value will be provided to you within 30 days of Jasco Pty Ltd receiving the damaged product. Jasco Pty Ltd will pay the reasonable costs associated with delivering the replacement to you.
In circumstances where the product is returned to us pursuant to this warranty and the product has been misused or not used in accordance with any care instructions, we reserve the right to charge you the reasonable costs associated with assessing the product to determine whether or not it is covered by this warranty.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any reasonable foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
